In this short series of classes, we will look at how simple meditation techniques coming from Buddhist wisdom can help us to develop peace within our own mind.
These techniques when put into practice can help us to find the peace we are looking for in our every day life, reduce our stress and improve our well-being
We want to be happy all the time, even during sleep. How can we do this? We can do this through training in meditation because meditation makes our mind peaceful, and when our mind is peaceful we are happy all the time, even if our external conditions are poor.
The Mirror of Dharma with Additions, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Each class will give practical instruction and guidance on how to build the foundation of a strong meditation practice and develop inner peace. Each session will consist of teachings and guided meditations. We sit on chairs, and no exercise is involved.
Each class is self-contained.
You can book below for the whole series, or you are welcome to simply turn up and pay on the door per class.
