We live in a world full of distractions – so many things clamouring for our attention.
This can lead us to a life in which we are content with superficial knowledge, and make it difficult for us to experience the depth and profundity of spiritual understandings or to make real progress.
With concentration and mindfulness however, we can easily take profound steps to transform our live and gain real benefit
In this half day course we will learn how to deepen our meditation experience through developing single-pointed concentration, and how to combat the inner enemies that take us away from genuine transformative experience.
“At present when we engage in any virtuous action and wish to keep our mind focused upon it we still have many distractions and negative thoughts, so our virtue is weak…
However with tranquil abiding we gain the bliss of mental and physical suppleness and all our previous obstacles to concentration disappear…
We feel calm all the time, because our mind is completely free from tension”
